Hey Space Placers! What is this picture of: Give up? It is a picture of a quasar that has been gravitationally lensed into SIX separate images - the blue spots - by an intervening cluster of galaxies. This is the only known instance in which this has happened. Distant objects such as galaxies or quasars - active black holes - are captured by these gravitational lenses that allows us to see objects we might not be able to see otherwise.
