SEE VENUS AT ITS BRIGHTEST THIS WEEK - OTHER PLANETS TOO

If so, check out the BRILLIANT planet Venus this week which is at around a stunning -4.8 magnitude - read "that's bright"! - on the 19th & will remain real bright for the remainder of the week. Elusive BUT BRIGHT Mercury joins the sky show before dawn in the East - start looking around 6 a.m. local time. Mercury will be to the lower left of higher in the sky Venus. Binoculars and a clear view of the horizon will help finding Mercury. The planet closest to the Sun will be a golden-yellow color.  The bright star between higher Venus and lower Mercury is Regulus, so don't confuse the star with ...
