Supermoon Sunday
Hey Space Placers! I hope you had a chance to get in the hoopla around the world regarding Supermoon Sunday - see my blog from 8-10-14 for details. It was wonderful - to me - to see such a reaction to a splendid astronomical event. I watched the Supermoon from 1/4 mile above New York City on the 102nd floor of the Empire State Building and took this pic with my iPhone: We have one more Supermoon next month so here's to clear skies!
