Happy 1st Day of Spring & ATREX Launch Update

Hey Space Placers!

Today, March 20, is the first day of spring - the Vernal Equinox - and leads to a few days of almost equal daylight and night time hours, hence the name equinox.

NASA is due to launch the 5 sounding rockets in 5 minutes from Wallops Island - see my 3-17-12 blog - between midnight and 5 a.m. Tuesday. Check http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/sunearth/missions/atrex-launch.html for further launch updates.
