Our Milky Way Galaxy has a supermassive black hole just as many other galaxies do, residing at its center.
A new NASA satellite has been able to actually capture our black hole in the processing of feeding on some type of matter which caused it to flare up

NuSTAR picked up the 180 million degree flare up from Sagittarius A-Star, or Sgr A* for short, during a several day observing run.
