Check out the Orionid Meteor Shower tonight and the next several days. The best view will be after midnight -the 20th, until it starts to get light at dawn. The meteors will appear to come from the southeast - see the graphic below from Sky and Telescope.
Find an area free of lights, make yourself comfortable and warm and enjoy the show. You should see about 25 an hour
