Birth of a Black Hole

Hey Space Placers!

   Here is an excellent news release that discusses black holes - how they form and how we may be able to actually see a light signature at the moment of their birth.

The search for these events is underway and should improve as new telescopes and better instrumentation give astronomers a better chance to see them.
