Comet ISON Passes Mars

Hey Space Placers!

With NASA's websites shut because of the silly and shameful actions of the U.S. Congress we probably won't get a chance  to see the pictures being taken of Comet ISON today until NASA is back online.

Regardless of the inaction of politicians, gravity is still driving Comet ISON closer to the Sun each and every day. Now traveling at well over 78,000 miles per hours towards the Sun, Comet ISON will pass very close to Mars today, October 1st.

I can't refer you to a NASA website about all of this BUT I can send you to You Tube to get further information: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uJFvkJzBVA.
