I was able to find a Tweet from a trusted source on Twitter that LADEE fired her main engine today at approximately 7 a.m. EDT to put herself in lunar orbit - https://twitter.com/LunarOrbiter/status/386854344051531776
This was no small feat as because of the stupid shutdown of the government there is minimal manning of LADEE's mission control. A makeshift team of probably 3 or 4 had to step up and fill in to keep LADEE on course for the Moon. Hopefully we will be able to find out how the burn went and follow on corrections.
Way to go Team LADEE!
