China's Lunar Rover Set To Enter Lunar Orbit Friday Night

China's lunar rover is set to enter lunar orbit late Friday night according to this news release:

The rover is targeting Sinus Iridum with a touchdown expected near Laplace A as seen in this Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Wide Angle Camera photo:


Touchdown is set for around the 14th. Hopefully China will elect to be open with their mission and its results.
