Hey Space Placers!
Earth strikes back! NASA is designing a mission to hit an asteroid as part of our planetary defense.
DART would test deflection via an impact with an asteroid....a possible strategy if we found a space rock with our name on it. It would have to be far enough away so that such a strategy could work.
