A BIG CANDLE GOT LIT YESTERDAY!

Hey, Space Placers!!

NASA and its contractor Northrop Grumman successfully tested a 3.6 million pound thrust Solid Rocket Booster (SRB) yesterday in Utah.

The 2 minute test was apparently successful but full review of all the data obtained from the firing test must be retrieved and analyzed.

Two SRBs will help power the Space Launch System (SLS)  along with four RS-25 engines, upon liftoff until booster separation two minutes later.

Turn up the volume:

We're going to the Moon to STAY this time with SLS and Artemis.
