Two references to learn all about water on the Moon:

https://moon.nasa.gov/inside-and-out/water-on-the-moon-timeline/

https://www.universetoday.com/154544/one-crater-on-the-moon-is-filled-with-ice-and-gas-that-came-from-a-comet-impact/?fbclid=IwAR1o3QlQPXZakbPQj_uxFVym_Qn0-Y9Dt9QDV8wLV-943SMslhBGDfHedQo

This can be a critical resource to help humans survive and thrive on the Moon. NASA and other space agencies are exploring how to utilize this potential resource but further missions, crewed and robotic, are in the works to explore the Moon's South Polar region for further data.
