INTERNATIONAL OBSERVE THE MOON NIGHT (IOMN) IS TONIGHT!

 Hey Space Placers!

Tonight is Luna's Night!

As described by NASA, "IOMN is an annual, worldwide public engagement event takes place when the Moon is close to first quarter – a great phase for evening observing.  Last year about 500,000 people participated from 122 countries on all seven continents"

Check out the website to see if there is an observing event near you AND the online events as well.

  • On October 1, tune into a NASA TV Broadcast from 7p.m.–8p.m. EST and find views of the Moon from telescopes around the world on the program’s Live Streams page.

I have cloudy skies so Luna is out for me tonight.
