International Space Station (ISS) National Laboratory

 Hey, Space Placers!

ISS FLIES OVERHEAD

Greg Redfern

Have you seen the International Space Station (ISS) in the night sky? It is something to see as it silently and BRIGHTLY moves across the sky at 17,500 mph a couple hundred miles up. You can sign up at the link on my blog to be notified by NASA of when ISS will be visible for the location you provide.

ISS crew members on board conduct a daily schedule of scientific, engineering and medical research on behalf of their respective countries. For the US, the International Space Station (ISS) National Laboratory is the entity in charge.

You can get the latest on the research being done by the Laboratory via their UPWARD on line magazine.

These two references are a valuable resource for students and professionals.
