PARKER SOLAR PROBE IS ALIVE AND WELL!!!!

NASA's Parker Solar Probe launched on August 12, 2018 on a mission to study the sun.

PARKER MADE IT!!!!  See my previous blog for reference.

The intrepid Parker spacecraft phoned home late on December 26th to let controllers know it had survived its 3.8 million mile from the Sun encounter.

It won't be until New Year's Day that the spacecraft will send a detailed update to indicate if collected data during the flyby.

That will be a great start to 2025 if results are successful!
