Private lunar lander is declared dead after landing sideways in a crater near the moon’s south pole

Sad news from yesterday's attempted landing on the Moon.

Athena landed sideways and couldn't generate solar power for its batteries and was declared dead.

Oh, and SpaceX's Starship 8 blew up yesterday just like # 7 did two months ago
