I visited the United States Geological Survey Astrogeology facility in Flagstaff, AZ, today.

A LOT of history - I visited the facility in 1968 just after it had opened for supporting the Apollo moon landings - and exciting current projects. I will have more on that in a future blog.

Today, get the scoop on some college students planning to fly to an asteroid.

I also visited Meteor Crater in Flagstaff, Lowell Observatory and Sunset Crater. More on those amazing space places too in the near future.
