One of the most contested issues in cosmology is our understanding of the Universe’s expansion. Adam Riess discusses why there is disagreement and what might resolve it.

Here is one of the best articles I have ever read about Dark Matter, Dark Energy, Einstein, discovery of the acceleration of the expansion of the Universe.

It is current and based on a recent interview with Adam Riess, co-discoverer of the acceleration. 

Really explains the historical, observational and theoretical aspects of what we see going on in the Universe and the quest to understand the why it is happening.
