'PROMISE' me the moon? NASA wants to send spare nuclear-powered Mars rover to the lunar surface

 Hey, Space Placers!

This story, or lunar mission concept I should say, is straight out of sci-fi! Use a left over Plutonium-powered Mars Rover test vehicle that successfully led to the real deal Rovers on Mars making history and discoveries, to, wait for it, go to the lunar South Pole!

The proposed lunar lander mission named PROMISE - Polar Rover for Observation, Mapping, and In-Situ Exploration -  was announced yesterday along with other NASA Moon Base news.
