MARS HELICOPTER INGENUITY SET FOR FIRST FLIGHT

 Hey, Space Placers!

NASA's first ever helicopter on another planet, Ingenuity, is scheduled for its first flight on April 8th. The flight will be a simple up and down to test the helicopter.

The deployment sequence for Ingenuity to be freed from its position on the belly of Perseverance involves several crucial steps that must be accomplished.

If all goes well we should see some images from a first-ever perspective on Mars - above the surface.

Stay tuned!
