BIG EXPLOSION ON FAR SIDE OF THE SUN

 Hey, Space Placers!

The Sun is showing sunspots as you can see in my photo taken 2-11-22. 

But on the far side of the Sun there was a big explosion on 2/15/22.

Solar scientists believe this may have been caused by the same sunspot group that caused the geomagnetic storm that has affected 40 Starlink satellites.

The Sun rotates as our Earth does so we should see this sunspot group in the next few days. 

NEVER LOOK AT THE SUN WITHOUT USING A SAFE SOLAR FILTER AS YOU WILL INJURE YOUR EYES.

If the weather allows I will be imaging the Sun each clear day and posting on my Twitter and FB accounts.
