FAILED LUNAR MISSION TO BURN UP IN EARTH'S ATMOSPHERE TOMORROW

 Hey, Space Placers!

Silvery box-shaped lander with four splayed legs, holding complex instruments, on the lunar surface.

THE VIEW WE WISH WE COULD HAVE SEEN

An artist’s rendering shows the Astrobotic Peregrine Mission One lunar lander as it would have appeared on the moon’s surface. Mission One was the 1st commercial attempt to land on the moon. Image via Astrobotic.

The Astrobotic Peregrine Mission One mission to the Moon that suffered a propellant leak will enter Earth's atmosphere tomorrow and burn up harmlessly.

It will occur in the Southern Hemisphere near Australia and will occur over water.

No one will be in danger as a result of the re-entry.
