Cosmic trifecta: Winter Solstice, meteors from The Little Bear, ‘Alien’ comet passes by Earth

 Hey, Space Placers!

COMET 3I/ATLAS was approximately 169,150,000 miles away traveling at approximately 125,000 mph when I imaged it early morning 12/20/25 . It was one day past its closest point of approach to Earth.

Winter arrives at 10:03 am EST today. There is also a meteor shower tonight and Comet 3I/ATLAS is leaving the solar system forever.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!
